Office of Student Engagement & Leadership
I started working as a videographer for the SE&L office at the beginning of my junior year. So far, I have produced 5 large-scale videos and a handful of short-form video productions. My job consists of attending an event assigned to me by my professional staff, shooting that event on my DSLR using a stabilizing gimbal and then editing those events down into ~30-second short videos. Those videos may or may not be added to a larger video that is part of a larger series.

The purpose of the Rock the Weekend series is to create positive social opportunities for SRU students serving as opportunities for students to connect with the campus and their peers through social activities and so much more. My job is to attend each RTW event of the month, film b-roll, and edit it into a fun video that conveys the exciting nature of the event.

The Week of Welcome (WOW) is a campus tradition to welcome all incoming first-year, transfer, and commuter students to The Rock. This week of events is hosted by the Office of Student Engagement & Leadership so my job was to attend and film the events, and edit them into a fun video that conveys the exciting and new nature of this week for Freshman.

Wiz Khalifa and Fedd the God Concert

On Sunday April 14th SRU's University Program Board brought in Wiz Khalifa and Fedd the God for the yearly spring concert. Wiz and Fedd are both Pittsburgh natives who have been to SRU before.
Fedd the God Interview

Fedd the God is a rapper from Pittsburgh who is signed to Wiz Khalifa's label Taylor Gang. He visited Slippery Rock University with Wiz Khalifa in April of 2024. Multiple student media organizations got to interview him in order to promote the upcoming concert.
Greek Week
Spring 2024
Greek Week is a yearly event hosted by Fraternity & Sorority Life to help bring together their organizations, celebrate their love for Greek Life, and build camaraderie. The SE&L office works with the Greek Organizations so I got to attend this week's events in support of the Greeks.
Rock The Weekend
Fall 2023
Rock the Weekend is an activity series coordinated by the SE&L to create positive social opportunities for SRU students. These are events held by a variety of SRU clubs every Friday and Saturday evening. I am assigned to go to these events, film them, and edit them into videos like this one!

Week of Welcome

Week of Welcome is the week prior the first week of Fall semester classes where SRU welcomes the new freshman students into campus. I attended each of the major events of the week and gathered footage of students as they got familiar with college life.
Sorority and Fraternity Bid Days Spring 2024
Greek Life plays a prevalent role on our campus, thus the recruitment week and bid day process tends to be a big deal. I go to go to the respective Sorority and Fraternity Bid Day events, and film them so that the members could look back on them in the future.
